So, where do you go to pick up chicks?
To the post office… duuh.
So, they came. Cute little fluff balls of adorableness. They came. All 10 survived delivery. So, it’s a whole hodge-podge of kinds. Basically, they’re selected to give an interesting array of colored eggs; brown, blue, and green. Should be fun.
Here they are:
They really are cute. Kinsley woke up this morning and gave me this long-winded story about a dream that she had about her friend Piper “She’s 5 and is in my class Well, not my class because I’m not in school, but in my class. And she came over, and we all pushed her. On the swing, I don’t mean we pushed her. That would be silly. And then, we picked up the chicks and held them.” That’s how it ended.
They peep constantly. As I sit here, they keep peeping. It’s really cute.
As far as the rest of the day goes, not much has happened since the last time. There really isn’t any new news to share. It’s been a pretty calm 2 days. We planted carrots yesterday and are going to start pulling some dried out, overgrown grass today. Sorry so boring, but it’s all I got 🙂
Oh, perhaps my biggest news. My son, Reece, joined the Facebook group: Bad Dad Jokes. All on his own. #prouddaddy
